What is Scuba Diving
Scuba diving is one of those activities that everyone says they want to do one day, but often never get the chance to experience. If you’re reading this right now, you are one of the lucky ones attempting to put their money where their mouths are and give scuba diving a try to explore the underwater world to explore unbelievable dive sites. But before you dive into deep waters or off dive boats, we must cover the basics of what recreational scuba diving is and how you can do it.
There are many ways to describe scuba diving. Some people think of it as a sport or lifestyle while others think of it as a tourism activity or a meditative experience. In general, you may think of scuba diving as an underwater experience. At its core, scuba diving is an activity where you dive underwater to experience the beauty and nature that lie beneath the ocean.
There are various aspects and sub-branches of what scuba diving entails. However, in this article, we will keep things simple, short, and easy to follow and tell you about recreational scuba diving. We will talk about the basics you need to know about scuba diving as a beginner. So, if you are new to the world of scuba diving, keep reading so that we can dive into all you need to know to get started.

Introductury Scuba Experience (ISE)
Pre-requisite: 12+ years old. For candidates 10 &11 years old, max depth is limited to 9m.
Lets Dive for first time !!
The ISE is an introductory program provided for interested parties to “try SCUBA.” It is a 90 min programm and it consists of a basic orientation to equipment and basic skills with practice in confined water. For those capable enough it may be followed by an Openwater experience to a depth no greater than 6 meters under ideal conditions. Direct supervision is required by an OWI.
There is also a second programm , 45 min , and then we can go to 12 meters under ideal conditions.
Andi Mediterranean and Andi Greece
ANDI Mediterranean is a training organisation whose aim is to provide recreational scuba diver training via its authorised centers and instructors, who in turn, certify qualified divers. The purpose of the organisation is the continued updating of its members in quality and safety matters regarding the training of both amateur and professional divers. It ensures the maintenance of standards and procedures which have been devised by ANDI International, as well as a common policy regarding the training of its various programs worldwide. Furthermore, it provides its members continued support and information on developments regarding diving technology, so that students undergoing training qualify with the highest standards regarding safety, confidence whilst diving and breathable air quality.
